Craig L. Gore
Communications Associate
Craig L. Gore is a Communications Associate at Freedom Reads and he also works in the Library Division. He was born and raised in New Haven and is the founder and executive director of The Critical X-Change, a creative and performing arts program that empowers young people through self-determination and creative self-expression. He believes in the transformative power of the arts as a tool for building confidence, leadership, and community. As a returning citizen who spent nearly half his life incarcerated, he has a deep understanding of the importance of literacy and reading for personal growth for those behind prison walls. He is honored to bring his story-telling skills, his work ethic, and his passion to help those still in prison to Freedom Reads.
